ADM Group, Inc., an Arizona leader in architecture and commercial interior design, is proud to announce that ground has broken on its design for Tolleson Union High School District’s seventh school, West Point High – home of the Dragons.
The new high school’s curriculum will emphasize a deep, rigorous and challenging focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math). ADM’s design of the eleven separate buildings features a wing pattern that acknowledges that priority and sets the tone for this state- of-the-art school. ADM Principal Ben Barcon, who was onsite for the groundbreaking, said “We crafted this forward-thinking school with the community in mind. Our design vision for this learning space is intended to tap into the vibrant surrounding areas of work and play.” Mr. Barcon added, “It has been an absolute honor to work with Tolleson High School Union District and the CHASSE Building Team on this project.”
The school will be accepting enrollment for an estimated 1,200 freshmen and sophomore students for the 2019-2020 school year and will add junior and senior classes by the following school year. West Point High School will ultimately accommodate 3,000 students.
Mr. Barcon gave special props to these future students of West Point High. “The Dragons are sure to wow the Valley with their dynamic school color choices of red and black. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for West Point’s students in this new facility.”
