San Diego Developer Pays $6 Million for 36 Acres in Goodyear

Sunbelt Land Holdings, L.P. of San Diego has purchased 36 acres at the northeast corner of Interstate 10 and Bullard Road for $6 million. The developer plans to build a mixed-use project on the site that will include multifamily and retail space.

“Goodyear and other West Valley cities are experiencing remarkable population and business growth,” says Brian Woods of Colliers International in Arizona. “This site is ideally situated adjacent to a full diamond interchange of Interstate 10 and surrounded by noteworthy retail, hospitality and corporate establishments. The developer is actively seeking retailers and restaurants interested in establishing a presence at this location.”

Brian Woods and Tom Woods of Colliers International in Arizona represented the seller, RP Palm Valley LLC, a corporation led by Sunbelt Holdings of Scottsdale. The Woods duo also represented Sunbelt Land Holdings, which is led by local real estate veteran, Todd Holzer. Brian and Tom Woods will serve as exclusive leasing agents for the new project.

The 36-acre site is situated immediately next to another vacant parcel that will be the future site of a Drury Hotel. A Lifetime Fitness facility is situated immediately to the north of the property. The site is less than a mile south of one of the Valley’s leading charter schools, a Great Hearts Academy. Palm Valley Pavillions West and Goodyear Centerpointe are situated to the east and west of the property.
