Energy Systems Design is pleased to announce the promotion of Halleh Landon, P.E. | LEED AP BD+C (electrical engineer), Ali Ardebili, P.E. (mechanical engineer), and Henry Melcher, P.E. | LEED AP BD+C | C.E.M. (mechanical engineer) as Principals of Energy Systems Design (ESD). Ali will transition into the Mechanical Department Head of our Scottsdale Headquarters as Henry becomes the Director of the Austin, Texas office.
Halleh joined ESD in 1999 and has become an enthusiastic leader that is authentic and passionate about her work. In all of her interactions, she exudes a presence that rubs off on our business and culture. She leads by example because she loves what she does - it’s her way of life. Her insightfulness is inherent much like her generosity and humble nature.
Ali’s promotion is in recognition of his sixteen years of service and significant contributions to strengthen and grow ESD’s clientele, develop and maintain strong relationships, mentor our staff and expand technical capabilities into new areas. We are excited to see where he will lead the mechanical department – and the company – in his new role.
Henry has served as Mechanical Department Head since 2013 and has spent his entire professional career with ESD. In his new position, he will oversee the Austin office, and additionally manage and support business development activities. During start-up, he will serve as the point of contact for our three disciplines, plan and guide initiatives as they relate to internal operations, and external relationships.
