A Sure Bet: Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field

In April 2021, the Arizona state senate passed HB 2772 by a 23-6 margin, approving both online and retail sports betting in the state. Just a month later, Caesars Entertainment, Inc. announced a partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks to launch mobile sports betting in Arizona and build a first-class sportsbook and bar concept on the plaza adjacent to the team’s home, Chase Field. In tandem, Caesars also finalized a multi-year agreement with Major League Baseball to become an Authorized Gaming Operator of the league.

Equally important, we went through our strong due diligence to find the industry leader in the education and execution of responsible gaming.”

In the months since, Caesars and Chase have worked together to develop the project, which will break ground in mid-September is projected to open to the public in 2022, and is located in the space formerly known as Game 7 Grill on the Plaza at Chase Field. The approximately 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art sportsbook, sports bar, and broadcast studio’s most notable features are:

• Bet Like A Caesar: Want a next-level atmosphere to bet? Try not one, but two floors of sports betting space. Whether it's with a teller, at a kiosk or on the Caesars Sportsbook app, the choice is yours for how you want to easily place your wager.

• Watch Like A Caesar: With around 1,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor LED screens, it's a sports environment worthy of any Caesars’ emperor. With many major sporting events being displayed every time you step foot inside, you'll never have to worry about asking to change the channel again.

• Dine Like A Caesar: If you want a sports betting experience befit for an emperor, why not feast like one while you're at it? You may indulge in top-notch food wherever your heart desires, as there is 10,000 square feet for both indoor and outdoor dining.

• Hydrate Like A Caesar: You don't see Caesar walking around without his goblet, so make sure you have a drink in hand too. Grab your beverage of choice at the inside or outside bar, or even at the private bar in the VIP lounge. Cheers to all emperors!

In addition to the physical operation at Chase Field, a Caesars Sportsbook mobile app also launches in Arizona on Sept. 9. It operates on Liberty, the company’s owned and integrated tech stack.
