In some big news, Arizona Contractor & Community Magazine received the 2022 Al Merito Award, the highest honor given by the Arizona Historical Society to those "who preserve and celebrate our state’s history."
We're humbled our 11-year-old magazine will be added to the impressive group of prior awardees, including Barry Goldwater, James Babbitt, Marshall Trimble, and Vic Linoff, a frequent contributor.
The magazine is the first publication to win the coveted award and was unanimously selected by the AHS committee. We dedicated the moment to our late advertising manager, Chuck Runbeck, without whom the magazine would never have become a reality.
