Brandon Moon Promoted to VP Project Executive of McCarthy Building Companies SW Aviation Group

McCarthy Building Companies Inc. recently promoted Brandon Moon to vice president project executive of the firm’s aviation group in the Southwest region. He joined McCarthy two decades ago and has gained diverse experience working on aviation, healthcare, education, commercial and water projects across Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas.

In his new role, Moon will focus on leading aviation construction project teams and collaborating with project owners and trade partners to efficiently construct, renovate and upgrade airports in Arizona and throughout the Southwest. He recently led the team that successfully completed the $310 million expansion of the eighth concourse in Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, which included the addition of eight new gates serving Southwest Airlines passengers and the addition of new baggage handling systems.


Moon earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from Montana State University. He lives in Chandler, Ariz., with his wife and two children. In his free time, he cheers on his kids in both track and field and football, and enjoys playing golf.
