Diversified Partners, Scottsdale’s leading real estate brokerage and development company, is proud to announce that Dr. Ruth Brown has “officially” joined the firm as real estate partner and head of its new residential fix-and-flip program. In this role, Brown will oversee projects in Las Vegas, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, Ariz. and Aspen, Colo.
“We’re all very excited to officially welcome my wife, Dr. Ruth Brown, to the Diversified Partners team,” said Walt Brown Jr., CEO of Diversified Partners. “Although she’s always been a visionary in her own right, her transition into real estate marks an exciting new chapter for us personally and professionally. Her leadership will undoubtedly elevate our efforts in revitalizing properties and expanding our footprint in the residential market.”
Brown recently passed the Arizona real estate license exam, showcasing her commitment to mastering the intricacies of the industry.
Previously, Brown practiced as a general surgeon for 15 years. She held many positions, including professor of surgery, vice chief of surgery and directorship of acute care surgery. In 2016, she ventured into entrepreneurship, starting a profitable short-term-rental business. Brown, alongside her husband, remodeled over 13 homes in Arizona, Colorado and California. Her success in these endeavors showcased her versatility and business acumen, paving the way for her transition into the real estate industry.
In 2022, Brown began leveraging her expertise at Diversified Partners by leading the transformation of the old Scottsdale Fire Station No. 3 into Diversified Partners' new 7,500-square-foot headquarters. From the initial concept to the final touches, Brown carefully designed and oversaw the project's construction management and implementation.
“After seeing her in action, working to make our dream office a reality, we knew bringing her on the team in an official role was the obvious next step,” added Walt Brown, Jr. “Jumping into our commercial real estate program as well as head of the residential fix-and-flips, she will spearhead our efforts to revitalize properties across multiple markets.”
