Mar/Apr Issue Featuring Arizona Architects Released

Writer's picture: Arizona Contractor & CommunityArizona Contractor & Community

In this issue, we spotlight architects—some famous, like W.A. Sarmiento, and others hidden in plain sight, like Anne Rockfellow, Arizona’s first woman registered architect.

The magazine also highlights their architectural works lost to time, such as Old Morenci, the original townsite of North America’s largest copper mine. Unfortunately, it was built over the Clay orebody, leading to its eventual demise.

For your convenience, copies of the magazine are available on the ACC website at Books on Seventh Avenue in Phoenix or the Ignite Sign Museum in Tucson.
