McCarthy Building Companies Inc. recently hired Jane Everhart as vice president of finance for the firm’s Southwest region. In this role, Everhart will oversee the financial and operational results for the Southwest region, serving as a strategic business partner to the regional president, vice presidents of operations, and the entire regional leadership team in developing and implementing growth and operational improvement strategies for the business.
She will also collaborate with business unit leaders in healthcare, education, water, renewable energy, commercial, aviation and transportation, public works, mission-critical and hospitality on their short- and long-term strategic goals and objectives and provide financial analysis for decision-making. McCarthy’s Southwest region includes Arizona and Colorado.
Everhart has more than 25 years of experience in controller and chief financial officer roles for major brands, including a multimillion-dollar construction company. Her expertise in finance, accounting and administrative leadership in the areas of strategic and financial planning, budgeting, treasury, accounting, audit and risk management will be an asset to McCarthy.
Everhart earned her bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from the University of Colorado. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as an advisory board member for Terra C02 Technologies.
